Coming off of huge viral success in the Venom Home Entertainment campaign, the team established that they had to provide these rabid Marvel fans with fun marketing content to market the Blu-ray and Digital release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.  

 

A couple of weeks before release, news broke that the relationship between Marvel Studios and Sony would end.  Millions of fans were furious and for the most part pointing the finger at Sony.  Finding an article that suggested Disney/Marvel make a Night Monkey stand alone movie to protest Sony. We jumped right on creating a fake movie trailer for “The Night Monkey”.

The trailer immediately went viral generating over 5MM video views.  Despite the news, the fans LOVED the video.

Once the news that Sony and Marvel patched up their relationship we jumped in to release a very cryptic Deleted Scene from the movie that shows the snuggling up together on the airplane which was a symbol of the happy news. That video went on to garner over 8MM views.
